How Utah Says works
Someone asks a question about Utah. Utah votes. The results show what Utah says — and people share them.
We celebrate the best of Utah
Utah Says is for positive discovery and friendly competition: the best burger, the prettiest town, the most underrated hike. We don't run “worst of” polls or questions that put down people, schools, towns or businesses. Every new question is checked automatically (rules + AI), and anything unclear goes to a human moderator.
Voting
- No account needed. Tap an answer and you've voted.
- One vote per person per question. You can change your pick up to 3 times.
- We use a private, anonymous browser ID and privacy-friendly bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). We never store raw IP addresses.
- Votes that look automated are held back from results instead of counted.
Rankings stay current
Every vote counts toward the all-time total forever. The current ranking gives recent votes more weight — a vote from 30 days ago counts half as much as a vote today — so a favorite from years ago can't sit at #1 forever. Utah's opinion can change, and the ranking changes with it.
