Utah Says
Community terms
Updated October 5, 2026
By using Utah Says, you agree to follow these community rules. The site is for positive discovery and friendly local opinions.
Keep it positive and honest
- Ask positive questions about Utah. Do not post put-downs, harassment, threats, hateful material or private personal information.
- Vote for your own opinion. Do not automate voting, fabricate activity, create duplicate identities to manipulate results or bypass security controls.
- Only submit text and images you have the right to share. Do not impersonate people or businesses, post misleading claims or use contributions for spam.
- Keep account sign-in links and codes private. Report misuse or a problem rather than trying to exploit it.
How results and moderation work
Polls reflect participating visitors, not a representative survey of every Utah resident or an official award, certification or endorsement. Results change, and recent votes carry more weight in rankings. Votes flagged by our security checks may be held back from public totals.
We use automated checks and human review to moderate contributions. We may hold, remove or restrict contributions and accounts that violate these rules or harm the service. You can report content through the site or contact us to request a review. No system catches every error.
Your contributions
You keep ownership of content you submit. By submitting it, you allow Utah Says to store, moderate and display it as part of the service and to share public questions and aggregate results in service-related social posts. Public contributions may be linked to your chosen profile name. Other people may share links to public pages.
Local information and other sites
Opinions and place information may be incomplete or out of date. Check business hours, trail conditions and other practical details with the relevant source before making plans. Links to other websites are subject to those sites' rules and privacy policies.
